This new book, written by Linda Shuttleworth and published by the Handbridge History Group is an account of the stories behind the names of the 94 individuals named on St Mary's Parish Church War Memorial, almost all of whom have now been identified.
Linda's research was begun in 2018, to mark the centenary of the end of WW1, and was completed this year.
The book is now available, price £5.
