PASTURES NEW FOR REVD DAVID COWIE

Our Curate, David Cowie, has left St Mary’s and moved to his own parish in the Diocese of Leicester.
 

David has been appointed to the Benefices of High and South Framland, and Framland Deanary Primary Schools Work Enabler, based at Wymondham near Melton Mowbray.

During his time at St Mary’s, David made a great impact on the Parish and the Parishioners, including volunteering to be “Prince Charles” for the wet sponge-throwing at the Summer Fair last year. He will be missed (as will his appetite!).

David was licensed on Monday, 5 June 2017.

We wish David every joy and success in his new Parish.
