St Mary’s church was full on Sunday for the annual Remembrance Service. The Act of Remembrance took place in front of the memorial to the 94 members of the parish who lost their lives in the 1914 – 1918 war.
The Remembrance words were spoken by Jim Beaumont, a veteran of the Second World War. Jim is photographed below with fellow veteran, Norman Bebbington.
